SCHOLARSHIPS TO AREA STUDENTS

We are a public charity established in September 1996 by a steering committee of civic leaders to meet a wide variety of social, educational, cultural and other charitable needs in the Danville, Pittsylvania County and Caswell County area, as well as other locations lying within the greater Danville area. We do so through the distribution of earnings from donations and endowment funds established by our donors. The DPC Community Foundation is fully tax-exempt as an organization described in Sections 501(c)(3) and 170(b)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Ben Davenport elected President of
DPC Community Fund

 Ben J. Davenport, Jr. Ben Davenport elected President of Danville Pittsylvania County Community Fund.has been elected president of DPC Community Foundation, a local charity serving Danville, Pittsylvania and Caswell Counties and surrounding areas. Local attorney H. Victor Millner, Jr. will serve as vice president. Vaden L. Wright, CPA, and Bonnie Cooper will assume roles as treasurer and secretary of the organization.
